Ministerial Ministry
- Our Ministerial staff is led by Chief Apostle Charlotte and Bishop Ernest Hill. Our Ministerial staff consist of Pastors, Evangelists, and Ministers in Training for Ordination. The Ministry is devoted to Prayer, Scripture, Fellowship, and Lord’s Supper.
- Our Vision includes the following:
- To seek the lost, To nurture, and disciple others to achieve Christ-like character
- To build loving families standing on the firm foundation of prayer
Mother Board Ministry
Our Mother Board are seasoned bold Women of God, who assist Apostle and Bishop to impart wisdom and nurture younger Women in the church to become strong Women of God. The Mother Board Duties include the following:
- Prayer and leading the unsaved to Christ
- Leading by Example
- Teaching young Women the ways of the Lord
- Assisting with preparation of Communion
- Supporting the Women’s Ministry and other Church Ministries
Women’s Ministry
Our Women Ministry’s purpose is to provide an atmosphere to empower, encourage and strengthen women to be loving Women of God. This atmosphere promotes spiritual maturity to share the word of God throughout the church and our communities. The Ministry teaches women how to walk daily in their relationship with God. The Women’s Ministry provides opportunities where women can minister to other Women and young Women in all facets of their lives. The Women’s Ministry annual activities include the following:
- Women’s Prayer Breakfast
- Women of Color
- Women’s Retreat
- Mother – Daughter Luncheon
- Women’s Day
Men’s Ministry
Our Men’s Ministry purpose is to encourage men to walk closer with God and fulfill their calling by God. The Men’s Ministry strives to see men spiritually grow in their character with skills to sacrificially lead in their homes, community, workplace, and church. The Men’s Ministry provides assistance to the church and those in need. The Men’s Ministry strive to increase male involvement in the Loves and Hugs Christian Tabernacle. The Men’s Ministry provides the following support:
- Assists Apostle and Bishop with the needs of the church
- Provides support to Bereavement families
- Mentorship for young men in the church and our communities
- Responsible for Coordinating Men’s Ministry Activities
Mission of Praise Dancers’ Ministry
Our Mission of Praise Dancers are led by Sister Ala Hammonds. The purpose of the Mission of Praise dancers is to magnify the Lord through dance. Our Mission of Praise dancers create an atmosphere of Praise, Worship, Healing, and Deliverance. An atmosphere for God to have his way to do what he wants to do. The Praise Dance is our tool for warfare to spiritually defeat our enemies. The Mission of Praise dancers consist of kids 5 and up to Young adult Youth. The Mission of Praise dancers ushers in the presence of God.
Pastoral Aid Ministry
Our Pastoral Aid Ministry provides service to Apostle Hill, Bishop Hill and their family to support them in all aspects of their lives to ensure all their needs are met. The Pastoral Aid Ministry supports Apostle Hill to be fully equipped and prepared to fulfill God’s vision for the congregation. Our Ministry’s goal is to edify the Shepherd God has placed to watch over us. The Pastoral Aid Ministry responsibilities include the following:
- Provides prayer, emotional, spiritual, and financial support to Apostle Hill
- Keeps track of Apostle Hill’s special anniversaries, birthday, and any other special occasions to plan programs and gift appreciations
- Assist Apostle Hill in whatever is needed to meet the needs of the congregation
- Assist guest pastors with their needs
Praise and Worship Ministry
Our Praise and Worship Ministry ushers in the presence of God. This ministry leads our congregation to true Worship under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Praise and Worship Ministry gives God all the honor and Glory he deserves. Our Praise and Worship Ministry consists of Praise and Worship Minister, Organist, Guitarist, Drummer and a team of gifted singers.
Usher Board Ministry
Our Ministry of Ushers are the warm greeters, who greet members and quests with a warm smile of Love. The Ministry of Ushers help our members and guests have wonderful Worship experience. The Ministry of Ushers duties include the following:
- Show the first sign of Love when our members and guests enter Worship service
- Assist members and guests with seating
- Assist with needs of Apostle and Bishop Hill during Worship service
- Attend to the needs of Guest Speakers
- Assists to maintain a sense of Order in Worship Service
- Direct members and guests to give in Tithes and Offerings
- Be on duty for all church services
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is the key to our future. The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to help each young person learn to grow personally and spiritually to be able to serve the Lord in everything they do. The Youth Ministry teaches our youth how to develop Faith and put it to work from childhood to adulthood. We foster an environment where our youth builds new relationships and learns to minister to new friends bringing them to Christ. Our Youth are taught how to provide service in God’s Kingdom.

- Youth Car Washes
- Black History Program
- Saturday Youth Sessions
- Vacation Bible School
- Dance Ministry
Outreach Ministries
Shares food and kindness to meet people’s physical, spiritual, and emotional needs providing food to people in need, building community partnerships, and helping people become self-sufficient.
